Room amenities, fittings etc were good - better than typical in a motel/hotel of this type. Location was good for the beach. Helpful when we wanted to extend our stay.

This is my second stay at Casitas Coral Ridge. Owner is very responsive and accommodating. Both times I was allowed early check-in to my room as I was disembarking from a cruise. It was lovely this time to also get a surprise upgrade to a suite room. Thank you so much again, we will definitely return and recommend!

This is a wonderfully quirky retreat that is quite the treat! Wes was a terrific host with all the grace and charm of Southern hospitality. He really took care of me, even tho I got there much later than planned, showing me around his tropical resort. When have you had a host even show you where the ice machine and your bucket are? Really an outstanding innkeeper. Wes is warm, kind and caring. This inn has just a few rooms that are almost like little cottages. You have plenty of privacy!
Wes and his partner have made the Calypso inviting, comfortable and INTERESTING! This place defines Quirky! It is full of festive color and foliage and unusual touches. For instance, the breakfast room and kitchen are intriguing. There is a neon coffee sign, a beautiful multi-hued backsplash and (of course) an amazing chandelier in the kitchen. The pool is tucked away in the back and offers a sense of getting away from it all. The whole place is like a Caribbean island resort.
The location is excellent - right in the center of the Wilton Manors area of Ft. Lauderdale. It's just steps away from a load of nightlife - excellent restaurants and sizzling clubs. It's not too far to the beaches, either.
Really, the hospitality, the location and the unusual tropical atmosphere make the Calypso Inn my go-to-getaway in South Florida. I suggest booking asap because the few rooms fill up fast.

Absolutely. No doubt about it I just wish you guys give me a free room one of this day. Because I always recommend Curtis Inn & Suite to family and friends. Your location it's great everything so close by room well-kept organized very clean everything it needs me, and my friend love it. We been coming here for years, and you guys are great compared to all the motels close by and trust me when I tell you that me and my friend had try them all. Keep up the good job. 👍
We love how you could walk to the beach, I love how you walk to the beach. It was within walking distance to a lot of restaurants, we didn’t have to drive to anything we would eat dinner and walk to some shops and then get something sweet before going back to our room.
We had some trouble with a canceled flight. They gave us the option to stay longer in the room to solve all the Reservations for the new hotel etc. also they informed very well about the process for checkin, parking etc.
Please book this Hotel instead of the HBH - they do not offer rooms as expected and charge many fees for Parking etc.
We are going to stay in the Southwinds Inn again, when we are in Fort Lauderdale!
The room surprised me because the prior night we stayed at another of their hotels they owned and we didn’t like it… but the room we got here was amazing, almost wanted to stay another two nights lol free breakfast was clutch (bananas, granola bars, cereal, bagels, cinnamon rolls, coffee juice and water)
Everything was perfect. All the staff members were very nice, accommodating and courteous. Unfortunately our stay was cut short because of our flight delay and cancellation, so we had to find other ways of getting there.This was our third stay at Curtis Inn & Suites and it is always a great experience.
Inexpensive accommodation by South Florida standards. It is convenient to park the car at the entrance on a concrete area, and not on the lawn under palm trees and coconuts. There is a kitchen with everything you need to prepare breakfast and dinner.
My stay at May-Dee was amazing!! I had a great time from beginning to end!! The staff were so polite and friendly! Checking in and out was a breeze! Our suite was cleaning and ready for us when we arrived. I enjoyed my time and will definitely be returning in the future!! Great job to everyone at May Dee suites!!
