Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
I loved the stream and waterfall next to the porch. We did most dinners grilling out, sitting at the bistro table, next to the waterfall with a glass of wine while my husband cooked was amazing. I also loved the swing on the porch. It was probably the cleanest cabin I’ve stayed in. And the shower was devine. It was a great location and I ten out of ten recommend.
I come to Helen every summer. I love the atmosphere there. There is always something to do. I really enjoyed our stay at the Alpine Inn. It was within walking distance of everything.
The inn was in a great location within walking distance to everything. The manager and staff.were super friendly. Room was older but it was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.
I didn't eat breakfast at the inn. We drove to main Street and had breakfast at a 5 star German restaurant.
Everything was in walking distance to main Street which was on the strip for shopping, eating, tubing, the coaster ride etc. You left your car at the inn that had free parking. Everywhere on the strip, required $10 limited parking.
We only stayed overnight, taking a day trip from Tennessee. We will be back at another time to drive to waterfalls, hike the many trails etc.
The location was amazing and had a lot of spots near by to check out! The farthest location was only 10 mins away from the inn which was a decent walk! The hotel itself was also very clean, wonderful bathroom, and excellent beds!
We could not have been happier with our stay. Leslie and the rest of the staff was very attentive to our needs. The Alpine Inn is small enough where you get that extra attention you don’t see at large complexes.
I liked the location, I'm glad it was not on the main strip as that was crazy. It was quiet and secluded. The staff were great and helped us a lot. The food at the restaurant was ok for dinner.
