Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Loved our stay at this historic Inn. Great location, comfortable room, wonderful breakfast. The chef provided a very interesting and much appreciated introduction to the history of the Inn and Harpers Ferry while serving breakfast. Nice touch!
We enjoyed sitting on the front porch. We played cards at the table that was big enough for us all. Comfy beds. Host brought us tide pods for laundry and let us leave a car there for a couple days. She also helped us find a place that delivered dinner (Anthony’s).
The caretaker\manager was excellent. Our room was ready early as requested and the breakfast was timely served and tasty. She also gave a short and interesting history of the Little Horse Inn.
Beautiful property that is decorated perfectly for the style of the home. Our room was lovely and the communal spaces had games to place and were very welcoming. There is a bar right behind the property which was cool. The inn keeper was extremely helpful and made an incredible breakfast both days we stayed. They also accommodated my gluten intolerance. When we arrived we had been given two small bottles of fizz as a congratulations for our honeymoon which was lovely and very thoughtful. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!
The purpose of my trip to Harpers Ferry was to see where the Shenandoah River enters the Potomac River. The location of Cantuta Inn was ideal as it was very near Lower Town of Harpers Ferry. The house was lovely with many decorations from Peru, Etel's native home. The bedroom was cozy.
The inn staff was friendly and accommodated our needs during our four-day stay at the Clarion Inn. We especially enjoyed the food and music at The White Tavern, part of the hotel. The food was good, and the wait staff was excellent.
