Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The included breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious! Our waitress remembered our coffee/tea/juice order from one day to the next with a welcoming smile! Dinner at the Black Arrow Tavern was also a wonderful experience! Tea at 3:30 pm in front of the lit fireplace was a pleasant and welcome surprise after a day shopping. This was a perfect location for our annual ladies trip!
The H. Inn is in a Great Location. An EASY Walk in to Freeport Shops! Room 109 had a bath/shower that was TOOO Hard for me to use... so we were Quickly Shifted to the Lovely 221 that had a bath/shower that was Much Easier to get in to. THANKS!! The Buffet Breakfast was Also GREAT. Great Service....and a HUGE Variety to Choose From.. The Manager at the Broad Arrow Tavern Bar REMOVED our Food Cost on Mon. night because of our Problem with Sun. night's Dinner. Much Appreciated!!
Exceptional hosts and a wonderfully historic, charming property. We were received & treated like family from the moment we arrived with warm hospitality, attention to every detail and even a perfect, home-cooked breakfast. Being in town for a wedding reception at the nearby Hilton, comparing experiences with my own observations and other family members staying there, we clearly made the best and envious choice in staying here at the Kendall Tavern Inn. Thank you for a awesome weekend!!
Warm, homey, cozy. Loved afternoon tea. Broad Arriw Tavern is amazingly comfortable with great food and decent prices! We got a great price on booking.com; otherwise this inn can be pricey! Loved walking to everything! I would always stay here but usually it is too expensive, great free buffet breakfast. Warm fires in public rooms. Love it here!
We liked everything about our stay at The Harraseeket Inn. It was -18 outside, but the Inn was cozy. Once we arrived, we didn’t have to venture back out: food at The Tavern was great and my son loved the pool.
Wonderful historic inn located in a charming town. We were able to walk to shopping and dining which was nice. Loved the nice touch of afternoon tea and the gardens.
So charming and everything upscale and afternoon tea delightful and a nice surprise. Also, convenience of tavern in hotel fir a delicious dinner. We had duck and fish and chips, both excellent. Highly recommend this lovely Inn. Full breakfast included, as well.
We would make the Harraseeket Inn a destination for any trip to Maine. Great ambiance. The room was very clean with pleasant decor - old inn feel. The afternoon tea was a lovely surprise after a long day of walking around the Freeport area. Definitely try the Broad Arrow Tavern next door for a meal - very nice. Food was very good and service was excellent.
I lived in Freeport for 11 years and spent many evenings having dinner with friends in the Broad Arrow Tavern so it feels like home to me. It's cozy and safe.
Great breakfast, staff was very helpful, very clean and a very convenient location. we highly recommend the Kendall Tavern Inn also high speed Wi-Fi
