Very nice room. Staff was great as was dinner. Location good as far as not out of the way, but traffic getting there around 6pm was ridiculous for a Sunday.
I should have read the reviews. This place isn’t just dirty, it needs to be shut down. Does DHEC not check hotels? The over powering smell of urine, the walls looked sticky, the carpet hasn’t been cleaned for years, dirty sheets, people sleeping in the hallways. A real nightmare. We left as soon as we got our keys. Thankfully sleep inn RIGHT NEXT DOOR had rooms available. Quick check in, clean rooms cmon clarion if you can’t keep up then shut it down stop wasting peoples time and money
The breakfast was good. There was a nice selection provided. Rooms were clean, but would suggest the hotel use Scotts toilet paper so that it would not clog the toilet. Besides the toilet issue which was fixed by maintenance during my stay. Comfort Inn is nice, affordable, and clean.
My family and I stayed at Hampton Inn and Suites for 4 nights and the hotel was extremely clean, the staff was very pleasant and it was very quiet. Everyone was nice and the customer service was fantastic. We would absolutely stay there again.
The place is falling apart, rust on base boards, and in bathroom, it's not like any other comfort in I've ever stayed in, you need to update this place, the beds weren't like other comfort inns.. the staff was helpful, but we had to change rooms bc you could get into it room without a key! Had push the door and it opens. That was scary!
Close to Carowinds. Mrs. Lisa at front desk was very pleasant, professional and great conversationalist, also directed us to a great restaurant for dinner. Each time I passed front desk going out and coming in she spoke. She was the only one to do this. Mrs. Lisa also went above and beyond to relocate me, hubby and infant grandbaby to a quieter room.
The staff especially Jeffrey the front counter attendant was amazing and went above and beyond for my family it was my autistic 8 year son's bday weekend and they helped us make it one he will never forget they let us use the dinning room for his special lunch and cake because I have a 9 member family that came with us sang Happy Birthday to him with us in the dinning room and got him balloons. I will definitely will be coming back to the hotel anytime I am going to Carowinds.
Really didn't like anything, pool was horrible looked really dirty, and it stunk like weed,that motel gives comfort inn franchise a bad name ,I won't be staying there again.
