Flagstaff is a nice town any time of the year. There are nice restaurants, shopping and close to freeways. Sedona and Grand Canyon are close enough for a day trip. I have stayed here many times and have not encountered problems.

It was a great little inn. Rooms were clean, breakfast was nice. The best thing was the inner pool and hot tub. It really helped us to relax before sleep.

Our room was (Marco and Capri) was lovely and spacious - much bigger than I expected. We had view up to the mountains but were within a few minutes walk of plenty of interesting places for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The garden was very pleasant to sit in and the honest bar was a lovely touch. Check in was ease and well managed by email. Having one personalised door code for everything was brilliant.

The staff were lovely. I am not sure if the man who checked us in was the owner or manager, but what a welcoming fellow. The location was great for walking, both to the NAU campus or the downtown area. Highland Country Inn is also located next door to a smallish market.

Every time I go to Flagstaff I stay at GreenTree Inn. The staff are always friendly, rooms are always clean, it is reasonably priced for those of us that who can’t stay in expensive hotels, and it is in a great location by shops and not far from NAU.

The hotel's proximity to Northern Arizona University was excellent for me as I was attending a week-long conference at the university. Their outdoor seating area with the firepit was very nicely done and given that Flagstaff has its own climate, different from the heat of the rest of Arizona, was very comfortable. I ate at the bistro four times, twice for breakfast and twice for dinner apps. Everything I had was good, but I wouldn't have minded more choices.
