Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
We stayed here to break up an 18 hour drive. We really just slept here. The king size bed was very comfy and we both got a good nights sleep before getting on the road. The room was clean and well laid out with plenty of room for our luggage. The brewed coffee was exceptional for a chain hotel. We did not eat breakfast because it was busy and we wanted to get back on the road. It is in walking distance to Cracker Barrel which was great place to grab some dinner before retiring for the evening.
Hampton Inn & Suites Effingham has no competition! The hotel is amazing. It is clean and very welcoming. Sarah took care of my check-in. Immediately, she welcomed me with a beautiful smile. Checking in didn't take long at all, and even had a great conversation. The room was clean, and I mean clean!! From now on I will be using Hamptom Inn wetever I go!
We stayed at a different hotel the last time we were in Effingham, and the room was very noisy. At Country Inn they accomodated us in a very quiet room. We will definitely return.
the staff was very pleasant and helpful! the restaurant was very nice and the food and staff were spot on. Steven was a very awesome staff member that not only checked us in early even though he was busy helping out for a large lunch group. He also checked in and made dinner reservations for us! very pleased with the service!
The hotel was clean. The staff was pleasant. The bed was good. It’s not the Mandarin Inn but it was conveniently located. The breakfast was a good experience. We were very satisfied.
Someone took a dump in our room when we went to dinner. We did not use the toilet before we left. When we came back, it was running, and there was a smell of shit in the air.
Love this Quality Inn. It lives up to its name. Check in went smooth and quick. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Plenty of towels and soap. The hallways were clean and quiet. Couldn’t hear any doors slamming or people in the hallway.
