Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The hosts were fantastic leading up to our check-in day. They gave great directions to find their inn, and the check-in process was super easy. My sister and I were so happy to see breakfast, juice, milk, and coffee in our kitchenette. We had everything we needed to whip together an easy dinner and breakfast. They also had a helpful welcome book with tons of info about the area and nearby hiking trails, which was perfect because that's why we were visiting. The inn was just 10 minutes away from Mt. Rainier's Nisqually entrance.
We all slept very comfortably and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside before we went out for dinner. It was very clean and the owners were very responsive.
Mountain Meadows was a charming country inn which provided everything we needed. As I am gluten intolerant a few extra gluten free items added to the ample breakfast would have been great. Otherwise all lovely.
Located right by the entrance to Mt Rainier National Park, the motel deserves its name. It is also near the outstanding Vopper Kettle restaurant where we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner (but closes at 7.00pm). Our "cabin" was large and, usefully as we were battling jet lag, had two comfortable beds in separate rooms. Parking was right in front of the cabin.
Good communication from hosts that made checkin easy. Clean, comfortable, warm chalet with small kitchenette, coffee machine, coffee, tea and microwave. Good breakfast also included. We arrived late afternoon after dark and it was easy to find the inn. Copper Creek Inn in town has good, reasonably priced food and delicious raspberry pie!
Amazing location right outside of the entrance to Olympic National Park! Very friendly and warm staff. Greatly appreciated them calling to check in on arrival time and providing after hours check in instructions as well as leaving the lights on since we arrived after dark. It was a fun experience to stay in a rustic log cabin and we loved the idea of having a wood burning fire place. Despite cold temperatures we were nice and warm inside without any added heat source.
The room is very cute and felt like home. Breakfast was delivered to the room in a picnic basket. The check in was very simple. Yeah we like the nostalgia of the old inn.
