Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Beautiful public spaces and spacious, clean and well appointed rooms. Pleasantly surprised all the way around. So many properties in the area are dated/worn, unclean or both. Derby Inn was clean, comfortable and exceptional. The breakfast was especially good, with hot and cold selections and great variety.
Breakfast was great! One of the nicest breakfasts we've ever seen. Staff was super..friendly and helpful. They were all great! Including housekeeping. We would stay at a BW Derby Inn again. Very nice!
The room was adorable, cozy, and perfect for my wife and I. The grounds were nice, with lots of shoreline & a few piers to walk out on. It was quiet there too, considering Hwy 70 was right up on the other side of the Inn. The decor was nice too, with the traditional chalet look, along with all the flowers & lights.
The bed was comfortable and towels were thick and bright white. The host is garrulous. The host provided an extensive list of restuarants, and we found a good dinner nearby as well as breakfast about 9 miles down the road in the direction we were traveling.
The Eagle River Inn was a great location, very near the downtown area. It had a rustic cabin feel to it, f perfect for vacationing in the north woods. The room had a comfortable king sized bed, a microwave, small fridge, and table and chairs in the room. There was a walk out patio to the lake with a great view.
Jennifer, one of the property managers, was very helpful with information about dining, etc. The Chanticleer Inn is an ideal location for a quiet, relaxing time away post Labor Day. We plan to stay again.
The kitchen was great the only thing that was missing was a scissors which I bought and left for future visitors. The dinning table was amazing and easily accommodated all 12 adults and 2 toddlers for communal dinners. The location was perfect and quiet. Close to grocery stores in Eagle River.
The room was just as described and very clean!
We didn’t have breakfast other than one morning we had a muffin and cinnamon roll which were both delicious! And I must say the coffee was very good. Jenny, was the server and very friendly she shared a lot of great information with us about the area and places to eat.Lunch at the beer garden on property was great! And so fun just watching to boats go by! We also enjoyed all the different places to sit and just watch the lake. It was also nice having corn hole boards there to use as well!
