The hotel is in the middle of nowhere but fortunately has good links to downtown Chicago. There is a bus stop directly outside which connects directly to the Blue Metro line at Rosemont. Common areas including reception look a bit tired but the rooms are comfortable.

They Red headed lady was very rude and pushy.
Not only to us but even our daughter-in-law in another spot. We let that go and just thought she was maybe very busy or overworked.
Then later, when I mentioned to her there was no oatmeal left she made up an excuse why and why she didn't want to bother to replenish it. Very unprofessional for such a nice property. Maybe she should work at a lower end establishment! We Love Fairfield Inn's and always appreciate the efforts they make for cleanliness, comfort and great service!

We wanted a room near the airport for a night. That is what we got! After calling in for a shuddle-transfer to get us picked up, we had to wait a while but it worked out. The hotel is just what you expect from an airport hotel. There is a gas-station just across a very busy street and a run-down dinner place next to the hotel. We had dinner-to-go and ate it in the "backyard" of the hotel (vulgo back parking lot). Shuddle in the morning worked very well but you need to make reservations to get on it
The set up on the TV to cast from my phone was simple, innovative. Liked the healthy options at breakfast I had an egg-white omelette and yogurt, liked seeing the hard boiled eggs there.
I liked the location. restaurants and stores were within walking distance. I loved the room! it had a couch and chair and a stove and oven and microwave and full size fridge. I walked to target, got some food and made myself dinner. it was great!
The hotel is new, current and well thought-out. The room utilizes the space well, nice sized bathroom. The vinyl flooring was nice vs carpet from a hygienic aspect. Shuttle service to dinner across the road was offered if the driver was available, which was so appreciated. Breakfast options exceeded expectations.
