Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The breakfast each day was varied and very satisfactory. The dinning area was always clean and the staff was very friendly which is always appreciated.
We were able to get a last minute booking after our original hotel wasn’t working for us. The staff was so friendly. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Staff was so helpful with food recommendations for dinner. The hotel had a bunch of baseball players (kids) and their families that night and normally that means lots of noise, however staff asked if we were part of the group and she made sure we’re on a different floor. Plus zero noise could be heard in our room. The beds were comfortable, the ac worked great.
Great value, staff was caring to my needs and made an effort to accommodate my request for a stopper for the tub so I could take a nice soak in the tub. But they didn't have one to provide they were very innovative with ideas on what I could use to stop up the tub to fill it for a bath.
Hotel was clean with a fine breakfast, and the common space (used to be a dinner club) looked like it would be great for certain groups, especially with kids.
Our family was staying at another hotel next door paying $470 a night for the same room we got here for $89. Beds were more comfortable in our room than the Residence Inn. They have a pool though so kids got to swim before checking in here
The room we had was a bit outdated. The neighboring rooms had a loud family that cooked fish in their room a d stunk up the whole area. The outside had cigarettes and garbage all around the ground. For the price we paid, we could have stayed at the budget inn.
Everything about our stay was very nice and quite enjoyable with one very minor exception that would not be any reason to detract from our appreciation of the beautiful facility. From the kindness of the front desk staff to the comfort of our room, we would recommend this hospitable inn to our family and friends.
There were several places to eat, several convenience stores, and a Wal Mart literally next to the Marion Inn. The staff was extremely pleasant and immediately saw to my needs. Excellent customer service.
Everything was great. Staff was AWESOME! Very helpful and very nice. Especially a lady named Denise. She went out of her way many times helping when we had questions or needed anything. She's a Great asset to your business, deserves recognition or a raise in pay. Thank you Denise and Thank you Residence Inn.
