Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
When we first arrived the welcome we received was outstanding. This was our first time staying at a Hampton Inn and Ken who was on the front door could not have been more welcoming. This was greatly appreciated after a long trip. All of our requests were taken care of and we had nothing to worry about.
Check in was good. Ken was efficient and polite. The bed and pillows are the reason I book my stays at Hampton Inn. This bed was no exception. It was very comfortable as were the pillows. The room lay-out was pleasant and comfortable.
The q-code sign for a menu needs to be removed. With that sign there, we were under the impression that there was some sort of dinner service. The lack luster response from the desk clerk left us rather unimpressed. We found it interesting that the code was still there when we checked out. It may seem like a small thing....but we had made NO other plans to be out hunting down food and found this to be extremely inconvenient and frustrating.
Dinner food was really delish and prices were good. Breakfast not so great. Our heater didn't wirk but got fixed right after we reported it. Service was excellent
