Looking for an inn?
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

This property is very eclectic and cool. The room was super spacious and inviting. Loved all the firehouse memorabilia through out the building and restaurant. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. Food was great and staff was very friendly.

The decor is kind of fun at this inn. The main Street of Barre is fairly quiet so that's a plus. I suppose if you're looking to grab a fast drink, guests can go to the downstairs bar. The microwave was small but worked fine. The bathroom is on the large side. There are some restaurants a 5-minute walk away...

This was an awesome place to stay! We ate at the grill downstairs for dinner and it was super nice & super cool (I might add) to be able to head right upstairs to our room after dinner, after a long day of Fall Hikes!

It’s an old home that the innkeepers live in. One of the more affordable places to stay near Stowe.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Firehouse Inn, so I guess that tells you that we like it. It's a very unique property, and a very nicely done re-purposing of the original fire house. It's also convenient that there's a pretty lively bar/restaurant on the lower level, which to our surprise, was not noisy at night.

Lovely, well remodeled fire station theme inn. A fun stay. It was very clean and decorated well. We had everything we needed and ate dinner in the restaurant below. Parking was a problem and the stairs were difficult.

Very nice communal breakfast in the giant barn dinning area. Had great visits around the breakfast table. Minimal intrusion by staff.......felt very homey, thus we felt at home The barn conversion is unique and we loved it. Our room overlooked a hugh lawn and part of the city
