The location is nice, I like that end of Solvang. Room was comfortable. I liked the local Danish at breakfast. We had been in Solvang in late 2021 and it was clear the pandemic hit them hard. Really nice to see everything bustling again, but also nice to be at this hotel just off the main drag where it is quiet.

We have stayed at this Hotel multiple times, and always enjoy the lovely unique rooms and beautiful garden setting. The rooms have mini kitchens. We love the secluded garden area behind the property which is perfect for morning coffee. Very clean, quiet and comfortable property.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The accommodations were very nice. We enjoyed the happy hour and the breakfast. We were so fortunate because the did have a room available. Despite having a confirmation from Booking.com, The Ballard Inn did not show us as having a reservation. The quickly and cheerfully took our information and set us up with a room.

Great little charming inn! Five minute drive to our favorite restaurant, Solvang, and horseback riding. The wine tasting hour was superb with a beautiful charcuterie table and the complimentary breakfast was delicious.
The Gathering Table is amazing. Dinner was absolutely perfect. Breakfast was good and the staff was wonderful for dinner and breakfast. We made comments to each other about how happy the employees were.
