Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
We have been staying at Hampton Inns for many years when we travel. It’s always a very comfortable stay; clean, and accommodating staff. This location in Austin South was no different.
You stay in this type of hotels because of comfort. Usually beds and bathrooms are exceptionally good and Check-In process is always smooth. I have been traveling often and Booking now offers a lot of private condos, houses, etc., and the problem sometimes is the lack of staff for your Check-In and while you stay, if the coffee maker doesn't work or worse, your shower lacks hot water, you'd like someone to ask. Fairfield Inn has staff and a very nice breakfast with oats included. Their shuttle runs often, great service.
Location was very convenient with access to the walking trail. Nice pool for the family to play in, and good restaurant with outdoor seating for dinner. We had a balcony room and enjoyed it very much.
Close to the convention center, convenient to get to the convention and to restaurants. I was able to spend several days there without a car. I also like the fact that they had the ability to order lunch or dinner or grab a drink in the restaurant downstairs.
Although the hotel was very understaffed, the people that we did have dealings with were very personable. Especially the gentlemen at the front desk in the afternoon. The gentlemen that were the hosts of the restaurant in the morning and the evening (dinnertime) were very cordial. The host was our waiter actually.
Best bedding ever. Great bar and restaurant. The whole concept of the hotel is fresh and innovative. Couldn’t be more centrally located, and the staff are very friendly.
The location was great, and our room had beautiful view of the river! All the staff members so nice and helpful! Special thanks to Preston with guest services who helped me arrange some amenities for my husband's birthday. We had an amazing dinner at Arlo Gray with a beautiful table and wonderful food! I would definitely recommend this hotel!
