Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The whole place was clean and had very nice staff. Check in was easy and when I needed something for my grandson the front desk clerk was happy to help. I can't wait to go back to Albany and I will definitely stay at Merry Acres Inn again.
The hotel is nice, but is beginning to show signs of aging. There were a couple of worn spots in the carpet in our room. The staff was very friendly and professional, they did a good job in making us feel welcome. Check in/out was very easy and efficient. There is a diner / bar in the hotel and although we didn't use them it was very well patronized by the other guests.
I loved the location with all the things to see around. The scenery was beautiful! We ate dinner at the bar and the food was really yummy. The bartender really made the experience spectacular with her positive attitude. She was hilarious!
