Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Nice calm location close to the rainforest gates, very friendly and helpful people, great service. We got drivers organized, early breakfast and late dinner without complications. Would always stay there again, thank you so much!
If you are looking for a quiet and family-friendly place to stay in Kisoro, Agape house is the place for you!
Andrew and his parents welcomed us as if we were part of the family, they even let us eat with them in the evening and cooked us an excellent dinner with local products. They also recommended different activities for the day and Andrew is really helpful if you need a hand with transport or to organise some activities. In short, loving family and quiet and clean place.
Thank you very much for everything!
We had a great night at the homestay. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast is served on site and dinner is just a short drive away. Both were delicious. Our host Emily went above and beyond to make our stay better and helped us sort our Gorilla Trek the next day. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting Mgahinga!
The rooms are nice and clean and have the bahtroom included. You have the possibility to sit together in the inner courtyard or in the front of the motel. Breakfast and dinner were delicious for a very fair price. The owner of the place is an exceptionally nice guy who took us for a walk to the caldera (with wonderful view over the city), took us to the local market and accompanied us on a boat trip on Lake Mutanda. He provided us with lots of information about the area and its people. We can highly recommend to stay at his place.
The B&B is only a 5 min drive/15-20 min walk from the entrance gate of Mgahinga NP, which makes it a good starting point if you want to go for a hike in the morning. The owners are very friendly. Breakfast was good and served in a timely manner (dinner in the restaurant near the park entrance was also good, but I recommend using a car at least one way). The room was clean and sufficiently big.
Amazing staff, they are always taking care of you. Amazing enviroment and very good location. Very good breakfast and dinner. Very good views and rooms beautiful and comfortable. Close to rushaga gorilla point.
The house is very close to the main park entrance. it’s very clean, has a nice hot shower and comfortable simple rooms. The breakfast was nice and we were offered dinner in a nearby property that was also excellent. However, it’s not practical to stay here if you are climbing Mt Muhavura, because that trek starts from a different entrance, which is 40 minutes driving on very bad roads early in the morning. for all the other activities, it’s just the perfect place!
We had a great stay. The accomodation is beautiful, Both the central restaurant and the lodges. Beautiful forest views. We even Saw a Bush eliphant from our balcony! Good hot showers, great food (breakfast, lunch, dinner), kind staff, great service
The proximity to the gorilla park. The view of the stars at night. The bonfire every dinner.
