We book the room with Sun moon lake view, it's really stunning! This is the point which make us not disappoint.
The room is not so new but it's clean and comfortable.
The old lady at front is also cute and kind, eventhough she can't speak english but try her best to help us.

Excellent, truly perfect waterfront location next to bike path, access to kayak/boat water rentals, a couple blocks from ropeway to amusement park and cultural center. Courteous staff, some perfectly fluent in English. Great breakfast buffet, set menu dinner. Amazing views of lake from hotel restaurant.
The room was modern and spacious as well as being very clean. The guest house itself is just a 5min walk from the centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful for any tips around SML.
Overall we had a great stay (tasty breakfast was included) and big bonus points were the friendly cats!
A lovely couple run this property and there is anything that you need. He speaks English and is happy to help with suggestions for bike hire, activities and dinner.

When are shoes got wet in the rain, they brought a fan to dry them and gave us slippers to wear.
The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had half board included so the breakfast came in a little basket to our room - really loved that it contained typical taiwanese breakfast items and that it was even changing every day. For dinner we went to different restaurants in the close neighbourhood which was also really lovely. I would highly recommend booking this place!
I was greeted by the owner and the staff were helpful. The room was very comfortable and nice. The bed was the most comfortable bed I ever been on. Food was out of this world. Dinner and breakfast was good.
Super friendly and helpful stafff. Our room was wonderful! Superb views. Free welcome tea. This town is fabulous. Ask reception staff for dinner options. We had a wonderful meal at an aboriginal restaurant.
The hotel is just next door of the main bus stop. There is also one 24hr 7-11 right opposite the hotel. Hotel provide voucher for bicycle renting also. Customer service is friendly, she introduce us to the dinner place nearby and also a spot for firefly watching. Good service. Definitely good experience of staying here in Sun Moon Lake
We opted for the half board option including dinner & breakfast. Quality is not the best but it is decent with good variety of food. Service from the restaurant was also very thoughtful.
Our room came with a private bath which was great to be away from the cold in the public pool.
The best stay in my 2 weeks in Taiwan. Host is very attentive and helpful. So thoughtful and extensive the breakfast that is provided. Also given a voucher for dinner at local restaurant get to try aboriginal cuisine. Big room, clean, really recommended. Also gives discount for bike shop, bike shop and bus stop to return to Taichung are located right opposite the hotel
