Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Personal service to impress. Pick up at border, dinner at a very reasonable price, perfectly cooked egg for breakfast, drop off at bus station. Most of all, a clean and comfortable room for the night.
The hotel was a good for a one night stop before travelling over the border in Laos. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice.
Good restaurant for dinner was Bamboo Mexican Restaurant.
The best bed in all our travels. V quiet spot, run by a very accommodating family. Food available on site for dinner and breakfast, perfect ahead of your slow boat journey. They even picked us up and dropped us off to the border.
It'a not often when you arrive at a hotel and feel good vibes right away. Tucked away in a seemingly rural neighborhood (spotted a family of guinea fowls pecking away outside our deck), this family run hotel felt comfortable and friendly. Dinner and breakfast is in an open air dining room/bar where a few house cats roam around hoping for a morsel. We wished we could have stayed in our large suite which was super clean for more than a night but we were there to catch our cruise the next morning which many stay in this town for.
Lovely host, arranged dinner for us after the slow boat trip, picked us up from the boarder and dropped us off at the bus station the next day, nice bungalows
Perfect stopover before heading to the Laos border. Friendly staff, very informed about local tours and logistics for crossing into Laos. Gave me a recommendation for dinner that was delicious!
Staff were great and the hotel itself was quite nicely situated overlooking the river. Buffet breakfast was better than most although our dinner was a little disappointing.
This quiet and calm place was a dream for my boyfriend and I. We needed this environment after a long few days of travelling! The free bikes to borrow to cycle around the farm was amazing at sunset, the host and her husband were so sweet and adorable. They provided us an amazing dinner and breakfast (breakfast included) with free transfer from bus stop the day before and to the Laos border the next day! So so kind
