Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

This guest house is in the perfect location. It's walking distance from the city center and many restaurants and cafes. The staff was pleasant and ensured that everything was perfect for my stay. I would definitely recommend this guest house to everyone going to Suriname.

This was the greatest place I stayed at in Suriname. Traveling alone as a woman in Suriname can be tough, but I really liked how peaceful this hostel was. The snug inner courtyard, the lovely old colonial-style building, and the hammocks were all great features that made my stay even better. Plus, the staff were really helpful and made me feel welcome. And I can't forget to mention how delicious the breakfast was! It was just perfect. Book a room with a balcony if there is an availability. Small difference in price HUGE in quality.

Joah Inn is a great place to start exploring Paramaribo and Suriname in general. The hotel is in very central location, from where it's very easy to get around. The rooms and apartments are spacious and have everything you need. In my opinion, the maisonettes are the least impressive rooms. The pool in the main court-yard is great, however the water gets a bit warm in the afternoon. Service is good and breakfast is great. We really enjoyed our stay!

The apartment I had was absolutely beautiful. Looking straight into the pool, Jacuzzi and restaurant. Chantel the receptionist was very accommodating to all of our needs and she bent over backwards to help us. Our stay at the Joah Inn was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one.

This was the perfect home in Paramaribo. I couldn't have asked for better. On the first night we had issues with the ATM and the manager even insisted on loaning us SRD so that we could get dinner, our first night. We were able to do laundry, had a lovely kitchenette for cooking breakfast and they even have luggage storage if you want to leave it when you go on a jungle tour.

Not quite a "resort". More like a rustic lodge. Reasonable facilities right on the Suriname river.

The food was very good, the place does need some innovation and it could be a little more stylish
