Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Happy Sintra Guest House is very nice place to stay.Airy rooms with lovely decor, garden with opportunity to sit and breakfast to die for. Also staff is very welcoming.

We had dinner/drinks two of the three nights we were there.
Both times on the balcony overlooking the mountains.
The bed and breakfast was very cozy, with a charming rustic atmosphere, and the host was really kind and nice. The place is in a calm neighbourhood near the city centre, within walking distance to the train station and the entrance to the Natural Park.
The hotel completely lived up to our expectations: glorious ocean, amazing scenery, polite staff, good food both at breakfast and dinner, cleanliness. The breakfast includes both hot (sauseges, hard-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs) and cold meals.
The ocean water pool is really big and impressive, with a lot of free sunloungers and two 3 m. diving board.
The coastline is beautiful and worth visiting.
A beautifully appointed guest house. We loved that it was within walking distance to the centre of old Sintra. Close to attractions and amenities.

Lovely snacks in the kitchen available to guests was a lovely bonus. Great parking also available.
Chalet Saudade is a stunningly pretty guest house full of history and old world charm. Yes there was a few flights of stairs down to our room as we were located on the ground floor but we loved opening the doors out to the garden and the sunshine everyday. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and the shower was hot with good pressure. Daily breakfast at the nearby Cafe Saudade was a great start to walking to all the sights in beautiful Sintra. (we went early as it gets very busy) Helpful staff added to a great stay! Thankyou ☺️
The location was perfect for us. About a ten-minute walk to Town Center and right next to the train station, we were able to pop into a store to store our luggage and then immediately see the sites! Dinner in Town Center at the Tavern just up the stairs from Ale-Hops was wonderful and affordable.
Location parking, facilities and staff. Appreciated the personal touch from both Alberto and Helena. Alberto took the time to familiarise us on the area such as where to drive too as well as restaurants and parking, which is always a challenge in Sintra. Ideal location as a base to travel to the coast as well as Lisbon. The guest house was immaculate and kitchen well equipped. Comfortable communal facilities, lounge, dinning room and outside terrace. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again.
