Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The property is beautiful, stylish and comfortable. The view from the room is divine. The breakfast is varied and delicious and the staff are very friendly and approachable.
We had dinner at the Sirga restaurant which is fabulous. We also had a wine tasting with Ricardo which was great fun and we sampled some fabulous wines. Ricardo is very knowledgeable and passionate about the region’s wines.
We would highly recommend Dourwin Riverside Suites. We had two nights and would have liked to have stayed much longer!
Very enjoyable experience, our only regret is that we only stayed one night. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and good value. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great pool and outdoor area. Cannot recommend highly enough. We certainly return.
Fantastic view over the river, both from the terrasse and the inside of the superior suite through tje panoramic window.
The superior room was very spacious and well equipped.(Nespresso machine, minibar, hairdryer, TV with portogiese channels(a lot of sportschannels :-) even showing German Championsleague matches, aircon with heating-function.)
The bathroom is very large and well equipped.
If you don‘t want to drive for dinner, there‘s a nice little restaurant with a well equipped wine-bar.

We also eat dinner in the restaurant. The tasty Manu was Service by friendly and competent personal.
It was a great experience and we would definitely recommend it!

Loved everything about the property. Located 30 minutes from Porto, Casa Valxisto is nestled within a small vineyard. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Our suite was spacious with beautiful views and the bed was comfortable. The on-site restaurant served daily breakfast and dinner which were both delicious. Again, Ana, Susana and the rest of the staff provided awesome service. We highly recommend Casa Valxisto for any special occasion or just a nice getaway.
Rooms were lovely and overlooked the pool which has a beautiful view over the valley. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We arrived from a late golf light about 11pm and the had Ice cold beers and other drinks available. Breakfast was amazing - unfortunately we only booked one night but another guest told us the dinner was fantastic. On my list to go back and stay a little longer.
