Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
We had a very pleasant stay in Quinta da Alcaidaria. The host is very nice and welcoming and gave us many suggestions. We managed to relax and enjoy the calm and the greenery and the kids loved the pool, Scooby, the dog, and Sputnik, the cat. Breakfast was also nice and the game room was a nice way to spend some time. If you like history, a rustic style and a quiet stay, this is the place for you!
Unique accommodation in family owned property with so many memories decorating the living spaces. Very good breakfast served in a fabulous dinning room. So enjoyed staying here and plenty of things to see in the area especially Tomar. Or just a lovely swim in the pool was relaxing
The staff were amazing. Beatriz took great care of us. She helped to advise us with our plans and she made us feel very welcome. We have food alergies and she assisted us with arranging our dinner at the restaurant on site. Chef Rui was also very helpful and cooked us a wonderful meal which we enjoyed very much. The views and rooftop area were very special. We can't wait to return!
The property is a beautiful quinta with wonderfully preserved furniture and a welcoming host, who can balance warmth without being overwhelming. He warmed up the cottage for us ahead of arrival and ensure we knew where to go for dinner nearby. We also loved the mascot of the property, who rounded up the homey feeling for my partner and I.
Host were really exceptional and were assisting even in easter ev when everything was closed they brought us entire dinner with no additional fee. Amazing ppl.
The house is great, big, clean, fully equipped
