It was clean cool and comfortable, furnished with good taste. The bathroom was roomy and the shower excellent, the kitchen had all we needed to make a dinner and the terrace provided good outdoor space. The bed was very comfortable and there was ample storage space in the bedroom. Marta even provided a hair dryer with enough power to make it really useful.

Beautiful place surrounding beautiful view. Quite, clean and comfortable. If you wish to have an excellent lunch or dinner, I recommend on "Costa do Sol", only 5 minutes drive.

Cozy apartment with everything you need, right next to the Old Town. The bedroom faces the inner courtyard and is therefore very quiet. You can walk to the harbor promenade in 5-10 minutes through the beautiful little streets.

Great staff, very polite and supportive, even reserved for us a table in restaurants for dinner; room is clean, not huge but spacious enough; breakfast was good even though not a huge variety: location of hotel cannot be beaten and the rooftop bar was our personal highlight

Location was centrally set amongst the old cobbled streets close by the church. Full of character and spacious rooms with vintage furniture and useful lounge with fridge, microwave and coffee station. The roof terrace looked great but unable to use due to bad weather. Andreia was fabulous Welcomed us warmly and showed us the facilities and gave us recommendations for dinner. Contactable through WhatsApp

The breakfasts were excellent, great choices. Dinner was not so good and a little over priced.

The Guest House is in a beautiful building. The roof terrace is superb and the main breakfast room. There was a great selection of fresh items for breakfast. Also coffee and snacks at any time. The staff are all friendly and extremely helpful. It is an easy walk to the centre and the sea front.

Amazing location to discover the Algarve. quite a rustic feel to the place. if you are looking for a resort hotel with large pool this is not for you. But if you like something a bit different and with a personal touch then I recommend Modesta. We didn’t have the option of dinner but breakfast was lovely and fresh. We found the most amazing restaurants in the nearby towns.
