The house is lovely situated at the beginning of Geres. It has all you need for a comfortable stay. The host is wonderful,. helpful and available whenever you need.
Everything about Residencial do Rita was absolutely fantastic. Sr. Joaquim, the owner, could not have been more delightful, willing to help us at any given time. He knows the surroundings perfectly and gave us the best recommendations for our 3 day trip to Gerês. Even though the restaurant is temporary closed (expect for breakfast), Sr. Joaquim let us enjoy our dinner outside. He made us feel at home during the entire time. We recommend this place to anyone!
The rooms are nice, clean and quiet. All face the lake and have cozy balconies. The property also has an inner parking lot, which is very convenient. The beach is within a 5-minute walk, which is also great.
It is in a very convenient location to explore a good amount of the park some hikes can even start from the Hostel. The staff were extremely helpful. The restaurant was outstanding both for the breakfast and for dinner. The view down the valley is beautiful.
Very good place to travel and observe Geres, the nature around is very beautiful.
Place around the house is very good, it stands on the river with a "pocket" small waterfall and citrus trees on the way to the main building.

This hotel is amazing value for money. I had a spacious room and bathroom with a balcony that had an incredible view over the valley. The restaurant served breakfast, lunch and dinner and all were good options. I would highly recommend this hotel.
I booked this as a birthday present for my wife, and it was nice that this was remembered on our arrival. It's a nice location, especially if you are there to visit the Sao Bento church complex. We had dinner there one evening, which was very good with excellent service.
