It's not possible to get there by car, the way showed on Google Maps doesn't exist (but they help you how to get there when you arrive). The location is in a quite area, and you can walk in less than two minutes to the main road. The room and bathroom were basic.
Set in the mountains of Banaue, Hiwang Native House Inn & Viewdeck features panoramic views of the Banaue Rice Terraces, an on-site restaurant, and an evening entertainment with bonfire.

Staff were quite accommodating. We had a change of heart with the rooms and they agreed to swap for a fee. From native houses we transferred to modern stone rooms which suited our family (senior and children). We also had late lunch and everything was fresh and tasty. Each dish was actually good for 2. Funnily enough my favorite part of the accommodation is the amazing bathroom/shower.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
We enjoyed our stay at St Joseph Resthouse/Inn. The rooms were a good size for three people and everything was in working order. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurants and tourist attractions. Overall, it is a good value, but we will bring roach spray with use.
I'm so glad I stayed here. The host did his best to help us stay comfortable and even served us local food.
"At this inn, I was able to meet a very unique child, and I will never forget what happened here."Everyone is worth visiting.
Very helpful staff, good sized rooms and on site car parking available. good range of food choices on the menu for breakfast and dinner. Free coffee available all day was a plus
The Shire of Sagada is a Lovely, unusual hideaway, in a beautiful location. Peaceful - a place to relax with nature.
The staff are wonderful (a particular shout out to Michelle!) Providing perfect customer service - A very Happy Place.
The choice at breakfast was great, and the restaurant for Lunch/Dinner was Super.
The Room was clean and comfortable. With a great view.
Our stay at the inn was amazing. Ate Rose was so accommodating of all our requests. Room rates are fairly priced as we had our own shower room + heater, it is spacious with a shared kitchen too. 5-8 mins walk from the town center. It is near some of the local restos like Vincent's, Sagada Brew, Yoghurt House, Sagada Bistro, French Crepé house. Overall, we loved our stay at Inn Maugay.
The staff were very accommodating. We arrived around 10pm and we requested to be served any food because it’s way past dinner time already and restos close early. Ate gladly accommodate our request even if it’s just on web chat. Thank u so much! The place was also impeccably clean! I would stay again if I go back ☺️
My whole stay felt cosy and warm, thats mainly thanks to Nanay Ellen for being a superb housekeeper. She was very accommodating to me, and made sure I made the most out of my stay. Plus Kutim (her house cat) made herself a fun companion to be with.
The whole vibe of the house is rustic and warm. Great outdoor views—nice place to stay at altogether.
Located in small mountain village away from town. Great views. Opportunity to experience local life. We witnessed a local wedding open to the whole village. Worshipped at beautiful St. Matthew's church with its friendly, welcoming congregation.
Meals are great. Many ingredients come straight from the inn's garden.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
