While planning my stay in Siargao, I booked somewhat late, so options were limited. Fortunately, I stumbled upon Gratitude Inn, and the photos looked inviting and fresh. The inn is tucked away in a quiet alley, providing a peaceful retreat away from the bustling streets. With only three rooms available, it felt exclusive and private, which I really appreciated.
Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the room’s spaciousness. The bedroom was large enough to comfortably accommodate two people, and the bathroom was equally roomy and immaculately clean. There’s even a small front “porch” before you enter the room, which added a cozy touch.
One of the highlights of my stay was how accessible the owner was. Reaching out was easy, and I received quick responses, making my stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, my stay at Gratitude Inn was wonderful. If you’re looking for a peaceful and private spot in Siargao, I highly recommend this place!

We stayed here for most of our stay in siargao(we extended our stay at the front desk) as the place was very affordable and only a 10 minute walk to cloud nine. It had just about everything we needed as a couple traveling the Philippines on a budget. Our room was nice and clean with good working air con. A place to sit outside our room to chill and a change of scenery. This venue is right next door to mad monkey too which was convenient for us as a young couple. We could go there for a drink on the night then come back to our room and not get disturbed.

Our team had a wonderful stay! The beds were incredibly comfortable, with soft sheets and a mattress that gave us great sleep every night. The internet was impressively fast, which made it easy for us as remote workers. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking and dining essentials, making it easy to prepare meals just like at home.
The location was also fantastic—just a short walk to the main Tourism road and close to all the shops and attractions. The staff were warm and accommodating, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Thank you, James and ate Cely.
One small suggestion would be a quick paint touch-up in the kitchen and maybe adding more outdoor seating in the beautiful backyard, which would make it even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience during our team building and would definitely stay here again!

Staying at riad masaya was one of the best decisions I made here. I slept in the dorms, for some reason I was alone there the whole time. Had my own private space, organizing my stuff was comfortable, and there’s a locker as well. The shower and bathroom are separated and they are really good. Hot water always.
Ate Inday and the rest of the staff are so welcoming and it makes the experience even better.
It’s not on the main road but there’s still tuktuks passing by.
The dorms are perfect for someone who wants quiet, comfort and privacy but at a good price.

It was clean, safe, and quiet. The pillows and bed were nice and clean, sheets are always tightly wrapped. I was surprised they cleaned my room after my day tour so that was really pleasant coming home to new towels and such. 🧺✨
They also have FREE coffee and tea ☕️ 🍵 so I always make sure to have one before leaving the home stay in the mornings.
The housekeeper was sooo nice as well, she made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. She also made sure we had transportation covered going to the terminal.
Compared to other places I’ve stayed at, I would HIGHLY recommend this place!!!

The staff were so lovely and made me feel so welcome. The communal area is great and large, especially the hammocks. Loved the family dinner we all had together. It's great having a kitchen to cook your own food

Great location next to a surf beach, great kitchen with complementary brewed coffee , guitars, yoga mats, games. Fun activities like the potluck and family dinner etc. Very nice and helpful staff , who even does the dishes for you
best resort I found in Visayas. I traveled around the Visayas for four weeks. I stayed here toward the beginning and loved it. Visited Boracay (horrible), El Nido (great), Bohol, Moalboal, Cebu, Siargao, and a few other places. After experiencing the Retreat at Siargoa, we chose to return to the Retreat toward the end of the stay to do some more boating and enjoy this pool. The people are fantastic, good location, the chef is phenomenal per my food and beverage US standards.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They organize a nice family dinner with party on Saturday night. They also take care of surfing classes and other tours. The dorm rooms host 18 people but everybody was respectful and the lights go out at 10pm. There is a nice pool and chill area. Every dorm room has 2 toilets and 2 showers.
The location is really good. Rooms are clean, cool and dark. The hostel looks really nice and has plenty of hammocks and couches in the common area. Family dinner is delicious and there's plenty of activities to join.
Had such a lovely atmosphere and really social lots of activities on such as family dinner and quiz nights etc! The upstairs social area was really nice to relax and meet people as pool table and ping pong too. Good location and staff super friendly
Best hostel I’ve. Ever stayed. At. The people and staff are like a massive family and you will definitely end up staying longer than you expected. This place is paradise! Family dinners are such a laugh and Francis is a fantastic cook. Ask for his mango float and you won’t be disappointed!
The warmth of the stay, the relax, the staff, the breakfast and the comfort of the rooms have made me live a unique experience on the island. Furthermore, the location is perfect, located near the beaches to enjoy the day and the lively area to go out for dinner and drinks at night. I recommend it 100%
