Staying at Richar’s home was an absolute delight. Amazing food, lovely family, peaceful nights. Do be sure you bring enough cash for lunch and dinner — we loved adding those on to our stay! And make sure you bring enough cash to pay for your whole stay (this is just a reservation, booking doesn’t actually collect any money for your stay).

Fantastic views from the room and all around the property Hosts explain their way of life and how things are organised in the community (very interesting). Very good fresh breakfast included We separately bought lunch and dinner with them - very reasonable price and fresh homecooked meal

Loved it all, had the space to unwind, the rooms are 10/10 with a beautiful lake view but also super cosy. The food cooked by Richard’s wife was perfection, arriving to a beautiful fresh fish lunch with home grown potatoes was nothing short of excellence. I got to explore the village on my own as I needed some time to recover, and in the evening we made a fire after dinner, and danced to local music in local clothes, couldn’t ask for a better night, topped off by a beautiful night sky. Overall 10/10

I loved everything about my stay with Jose and his family. They’re just so kind, smart, and funny - and make you feel at home from the very first moment you set foot on the island. Amantanì is super remote, quiet, and peaceful - the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and get to know the local culture. You get to enjoy the most delicious and healthy breakfast/lunch/dinner with the cutest trio as if you were part of the family. It’s just so incredibly beautiful and heart-warming. Do not think about it a second longer, just book!

Henry and Mariluz are amazing hosts. Their house is very confortable with a nice view of the lake. The food is delicious and is cooked by the family using vegetables harvested from their own garden. On June is the best time of the year to see the stars and the Milky Way. The view is marvellous!! If you arrive by your own, ask for the guest house of Henry at the Inkatiana comunity because google maps does not work in the island. Also is good to know that the ferries to the island depart once a day at 7:30am from Puno's main port.

This was such a unique experience of a rustic and homely nature. Adolfo and Justa were very welcoming and affible. Adolfo even guided us through his island! Considering we speak very limited Spanish, both were very accommodating of this and patient with us, we were able to have some good conversation! Beautiful views both from the lodge and the island.
