This is a great place to stay for the location - it is right in the old town! Staff were lovely and very helpful. Parking onsite was good to have too.

Whole place smelled extremely like frankincense when we walked in, it was covered in smoke and we couldn’t get the smell out which gave us headaches. We know it’s normal to use frankincense but this was way to much.
Room number 1 is not good, it feels like sleeping on the street. There is noise all night and it’s hard to get some rest.
If you shower, whole bathroom is covered with water.
Sadly, we can’t recommend Bait Alharah.

The owner was very nice and helpful. The location is right in the center, walking distance to the souq and a lot of restaurants and street food. Very nice budget place to stay.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Beautiful boutique hotel overlooking the mountains. Amazing breakfast and dinner (best food we had in 10days of hotel hopping in Oman). Very comfortable bed. Perfect for couples looking for a unique place to stay.
Beautifully designed guest house with a stunning view of the Saiq plateau. We were welcomed like family and the food was some of the best we had in the country. By far our favorite place we stayed in Oman.
What a beautiful location! The hotel offers incredible views.
The staff were so welcoming and helpful, chatty and kind. We had a nice dinner and breakfast (with great pancakes!) and the facilities (terrace Seating areas, outdoor dining) were lovely.
Very authentic and attractive inn. Our rooms did not have views, but the views from the breakfast room and the roof deck were stupendous. Owner and staff were very kind and helpful, for instance helping us plan a hike on the upper plateau. Breakfasts were especially good, with lots of variety and delicious, healthy homemade things to eat. The dinners were also plentiful and nutritious. We would very gladly stay here again.
The location is fantastic! Awesome views and amazing staff. The whole property is renovated with such care and attention to details. It feels like a very special and authentic Omani style place to stay rather than the 5* chain hotels nearby. The dinner buffet was very good and cooked by local Omanis. Make sure to take a guided tour of the hanging terraces - it will give you so much more information and context about the area and life there!
Amazing location with view of the terraces, and at the start of the three villages walk. Owner is super welcoming and helpful. The room is comfortable and really cool, as the whole building is in the style of an authentic Omani house. Dinner is also excellent
The apartment is big, nicely decorated with a killing view. The host was very kind, helping with our luggage and answering our questions. The house is at the beginning of the terraces trail.
The view was amazing, the staff super friendly. It's a real gem guest house on Jabel Akhdhar. A lot of vegetarian options both for breakfast and dinner. Fridge and Minibar in the room filled with omani chips 😍😍
I've lived in Oman for 2 years and will definitely bring future friends and family here 🥳
