Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Our host and hostess were so helpful and made us feel at home. They even gave my daughter ( the bride to be ) some bubblebath to help her relax, and they bought a new iron and ironing board cover to help us get ready for the wedding day. The accommodation was large enough for all our guests and the rustic look was perfect in the photo's.
Where to being with Jen and Dowie? They organised a shuttle for me from Hobbiton, saved me from spending an extortionate amount on taxi fare. They are so passionate about the beautiful home they’ve built. It was such a pleasure spending time with them both. I even cooked a Palestinian meal for them. We shared stories, thoughts and opinions. Book for an incredible, beautiful rustic stay at the House With No Nails, but also to spend time with these two wonderful souls.
The breakfast was everything you could have wanted. Jen went out of her way to make sure we had plenty. Yogurt, fruit, granola, fresh bread, poached eggs, juices, coffee, tea.
They even cooked us a great dinner on the BBQ of steaks with twice cooked potatoes, and veggies.
The story behind the house is fantastic. Dewi is a master carpenter and had designed and built the house in the American Amish style. The views from the dinning room are wonderful.
The room is very nice and very well equipped.
It's really new and very tastefully furnished.
We found our breakfast in the room ( refrigerator ) and it was ok .

We loved the rural location and the super warm welcome from owners Jen and Dewi. Beds were exceptionally comfortable, rooms spacious, house gloriously rustic and great facilities. Nothing was too much bother and we were made to feel like part of the family! Great location for our Hobbiton visit.
This place was very cute and clean. It was nicer then we even expected and worked great for us as a stay the night before we went to visit Hobbiton. The owners were very nice and it is right at the center of town so we were able to just walk down the street for dinner.
Fantastic property in a great location only 10 or so minutes from Hobbiton. We loved the outdoor sitting area and ate dinner outside on our first night. Beautiful surrounds looking over the country side.
The location was convenient for what we wanted, easy walk to find nice restaurants for dinner. The pool was fantastic for our kids to enjoy after a hot humid day.
The host was fantastic. She was very generous helping us get to dinner in the rain.
