Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The property was even better than it looked in the photos. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a weekend away. The beds were really comfortable. It was a bonus that we could walk along the reserve, to the local markets and to dinner.
It's a large self contained studio with 2 queen beds, kitchen and full bathroom then a sleepout a few steps away with a rustic but clean and handy outdoor toilet a few more steps away, perfect for us 4 adults. We were very happy with our stay, water pressure in shower was great and the place had everything we needed, great value for money.
This is an Air BnB type accommodation, central to Mangawhai Village, run by a delightful host. It was a one night stopover on my journey north, as there is a diversion due to road closure and this accommodation is handily on route. There was good parking, it was very comfortable, with a shared lounge area combined with full privacy of your own room and bathroom. It is modern, as the name suggests, and very clean. I walked down to the Mangawhai Tavern and had a superb vegan burger.....I can highly recommend. Great value for money.
Loved the easy self check in. Opened the door to a candle lighting and immediately felt at home. The sunrise from the balcony was absolutely stunning. Bring your yoga mat! Stay for two nights of you can, and visit the local supermarket before arriving to get food for dinner because you won't want to leave! The cabin has everything you could need, including beautiful tableware and a BBQ area.
Great location in walking distance to village, estuary walk and tavern
