Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Easy location for neighbouring places Stavern and Helgeroa. Nice breakfast. Tea and coffee on offer as and when.

Ideal stop-over on the scenic route south (or north!), just a few metres off the main road but in a lovely, forested area by the lake/river. Very old, authentic 'farm' buildings, so perfect if you like the traditional, historical feel.
Warm welcome, nice room, very good dining (surprise menu dinner [single-sitting] and breakfast buffet).
Easy to walk straight out into woods or along river/lake-side and nice outdoor area for relaxing, drinks etc.
Great facility, partly renovated, partly new, modern and warm style, lounge areas, nice rooms, friendly staff and great food (breakfast and dinner) in the bistro.
