Everything. The hotel has a unique wooden rustic interior, which is unlike any other. Everything worked as it should and great attention was paid to cleanliness. However, the service topped everything. The management were relaxed and friendly and helpful and catered to all my needs. I seldom if ever score a place as highly as I've done here. Look no further when you visit Kota Kinabalu!
We loved the location of the apartment. It is within short walking distance to various markets in KK and we enjoyed being able to go have dinner at the night market. The apartment has a built in water purifier in the kitchen so drinking water is provided which was a nice bonus. It was clean and perfect for a short stay in KK. The host was very responsive and helpful and the check in and check out process was very easy.
Great food, plenty of options (buffet or a la carte). Pool area and garden is beautiful and well maintained. We had dinner at the Ocean grill restaurant and buffet a few times. Both was good. Room in garden wing was large and well equipped, beds are fantastic.
Room is very spacious with a cooking place, a dinning table, a living-room kind of place, a big king size bed, nice bright toilet, strong warm water, nice big windows with nice view especially at nights with the lights and is at a good location. Very near to big shopping mall and Gleneagles hospital, easy to call a Grab taxi. Easy check-in & check-out method.
