We stayed for six days. We found our hosts to be quite likeable, accommodating and friendly. Coffee, bread, and fruit were included in the price of the room. Additional breakfast items were available on request. For Breakfast we had papaya, pineapple and sweet breads. The sopes were delicious. We also had chilaquiles, scrambled eggs or omelets. The weather was mid 80's to low 90's. It was easy and inexpensive to take a rickshaw-type taxi into town, and wonderful to come back to cool off in the pool, afterwards. The view from the roof garden was also very nice. Things you might find helpful: You might want to bring an extension cord, and a mirror to help with make-up, if you wear it. In Mexico, it's not unusual that there is no mini fridge or microwave in your room, but you will likely want to eat dinner in town at one of the many restaurants available, anyway. We had a wonderful time here, found it convenient and comfortable, and we hope to return many times.

My wife, mother and I went to Tepoztlán for just 1 night the weekend of Jan 10. We selected this hotel based on the reviews. This is not a fancy hotel, but it is nice, very clean, great location, big bathroom & shower and reasonably priced. First, Alejandro is fabulous. It was so nice talking with him and his son, Adrián. Both are so nice, make you feel welcome and were very helpful with all of our questions. After exploring the town that evening, we came back to the rooftop terrace and enjoyed the beautiful view. The next morning, Alejandro & Adrián served us our breakfast on the rooftop terrace - it was outstanding! We had fresh papaya, croissants, fresh squeezed orange juice, bean sopes, amazing homemade salsa and fabulous coffee (Alejandro's wife is the cook). This is such a nice, family run hotel. There are no complaints. I can highly recommend this hotel. You won't be disappointed.
