The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool and pool bar were great and the food was delicious. There were different options for types of food, but the restaurants weren't all open every day for dinner, so that caused very long waits for dinners. Breakfast buffet was great--lots of different food selections, egg station, crepe station, fruits, breads, pastries, etc. The entertainment staff was fun and engaging and the evening shows were great for families.

I liked the fact that my family made the best of it. We were there for a wedding and the property could have done so much better with the wedding decor and location. The welcome dinner was thrown together as they pulled chairs from storage that were covered in ants. They didnt even bother to clean the ants off.

Hotel Amar Inn was located on a lovely white sand beach and only a short 10 minute walk from the many restaurants, bars and shops of Puerto Morelos. They provided beach chairs which was a real bonus. The room was a good size with excellent air conditioning and a plentiful supply of hot water in the shower. Breakfast was interesting, not only offering fresh fruit, fresh juice but a different typical Mexican breakfast dish each day. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

The food and drinks were good and the staff in the restaurant were extremely attentive and kind. Although not lavish, there were good options for dinner and breakfast

Location is great, 100 feet from the beach and a few blocks from center of town with several restaurants only a block or two away. The hotel’s Inner Courtyard is wonderful. The prepared Breakfast is Excellent! The on site staff was also great and happy to help. We always appreciate a staffed hotel.

The position is tight on the beach which is very beautiful. If you stay here you get free sun beds but be sure to reserve the day before, otherwise they all get booked out! The cafe & restaurant serves all day. The food is quite good but we didn’t have dinner there as there are good places to eat nearby.

I can't say enough good things about this inn. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was grand. from a warm greeting to accommodating us for a breakfast with bacon one morning to helping us with our reservations to Circus Soleil Joya and also taxi rides to show and airport. Also, they helped with reservations to a restaurant downtown for a special occasion. Our room was very comfortable and the grounds very nice.

We were only able to do a quick stay, but the accommodations were beautiful and peaceful. We were in the "honeymoon suite" with a large bed, whirlpool, ac, smart tv, kitchenette, porch and large shower. We had spider monkeys for company as we ate dinner on site and again as we were leaving in the morning. Motmots, wood creepers and many other birds abundant in the area. Malonie was kind and helpful. We did not have time to visit them, but there were many cenotes in the vicinity and a lovely looking pool at the hotel.

I loved everything about Rancho. Breakfast was beautiful, the staff were so kind and friendly. Room was perfect as was the beach area. It was quiet, private, and attracted free spirited people with a love of nature, simplicity and quality. We were able to borrow bikes for the 10 min cycle into town which was a bonus. We used the kitchen for lunch and dinners and it was spotlessly clean and well provided for.
