I loved the out of the way location. others might want to be more central. I liked having my own room. Breakfast was sufficient (fruit, cereal). Kitchen was sufficient to make food.

Beautiful boutique hotel the room was gorgeous. We walked in with our code that was sent security greeted us made sure we got into our room. Great location walking distance to everything four blocks from Santo Domingo plaza. There’s a cute lil market across the street for drinks or snacks. Also the bakery across the street is delicious. The whole hotel was spotless so clean staff was always cleaning and friendly. The free breakfast was delicious in the morning. I would stay at Holt again.

Stunning location and well maintained property. Lots of great nature walks and places to go and eat in walking distance. The cabin was perfect for relaxing with family, and ours (Cabaña preciosa) had a kitchen, which was nice for cooking meals we could share on the porch.

I wish I had found this hotel sooner on my trip, I spend only one night here but that was enough for me to recommend to family and friends traveling to Oaxaca!. The service was great from the beginning, the food was also great! I will definitely come back. The rooms are very good size, ac in the room, the showers are great.
I really loved this stay. From the comfort, to the aesthetics, the amenities, and the nice in life’s breakfast this place is a winner. I didn’t want to leave. Staff were so friendly. Location was unbeatable.
The location is great, right in the middle of the center and an easy walk to many beautiful places. The inner courtyard is a calm oasis, and the pool is small but very nice. (The kids loved it). The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having Oaxaca hot chocolate in the courtyard and nice food in the restaurant.
The whole place was so lovely, the room exceeded our expectations and the terrace was amazing! The staff were so helpful, and they serve amazing breakfast with lunch and dinner options from their restaurant next door (which we highly recommend)! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Oaxaca after finding this gem.
Amazingly good value in one of the prettiest areas of oaxaca. A 15 min stroll to the zocola in a very safe but quiet area with lots of nice cafes, restaurants and shops.
The host is very friendly and the place feels like a real home. There’s a lovely roof terrace and a nice kitchen where you can make coffee, breakfast or even cook dinner.
I shared a bathroom with one other room but it was never busy or crowded.
I extended my stay twice and would definitely stay here again.
Excellent location, very safe (main door is closed to the public, no random person can walk right in), clean (there is always someone cleaning the grounds), and the breakfast is a winner (i had the quiche, eggs roquefort and shakshuka on different days—all excellent)
good location, quiet, nice small inner courtyard with seating, shade and plants. Room was a decent size, and had a table and closet for stuff. Friendly staff!
The hotel is absolutely charming, with a cool inner court with green plants. The swimming pool is very clean.
