Cabins la Palma are beautiful cabins in a rural setting. The wood work is fantastic. Cabins are 2story with a loft bedroom and a main bedroom. 2 king beds in each cabin. The beds have flannel sheets which are very warm. Outside of the warm bed, it gets very cold at night. We were there in January for butterfly season. Dinner was great and a reasonable price. But they don't want to take credit cards. Bring Peso cash.

I loved the retro feel of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and responsive to our needs. The dinner as good and the breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel was walking distance to the small town centre.

There was plenty of hot water in the shower and after a day of hiking Sierra Chincua and El Rosario, that was heavenly to wash off all the dirt. You're in the middle of a remote forest! The restaurant on-site had good breakfast, dinners, and hot chocolate in the evening before bed. This hotel had all the basic necessities for staying in the area of the butterfly reserves. Short walk to the main center plaza of Agangueo.
