Comfy beds and clen rooms, tv with netflix and in front of the malecon, excellent location. there are different restaurants neaby to have a pleasant dinner or breakfast
The restaurant was under construction for every meal except for breakfast. I don't understand how they can make a hot breakfast but not have the ability to make a hot dinner. They did not open the restaurant until our last night, and the meal I did have was disappointing.
We really loved our stay at casa Xochitl. Such a beautiful, calm and relaxing place in a calm neighborhood. The breakfast was amazing every day and Dan and Winn helped us so much with organizing our activities or with recommendations.
Breakfast and dinners were good and the rooms were clean and well maintained. When I needed a doctor, Rueben, the hotel manager, promptly drove me and my spouse to the hotel's private doctor, who was wonderful.
I like the safety of the neighborhood. Also a really good restaurant was just up the street - locals and tourists. (This was convenient if not wanting to walk to the Malecon for dinner. Gabby was attentive and helpful. I did not get her updated (my fault) on arrival time - that was an inconvenience for her but was responded and was there within minutes (all of this was my fault! - and Gabby handled it quickly)
The host was present when we checked in and was so incredibly helpful for where to grab dinner, walk around and have an authentic experience. The men at the desk that night and the next morning were above and beyond helpful and polite. We booked it randomly and were delighted with everything from the service to the decor.
The beach front view could not be any more remarkable. Our room was lovely, a one bedroom suite with kitchenette, living room, 2 full bathrooms, 2 balconies. The restaurant was spectacular, great food for breakfast lunch and dinner, just donwstairs from our room, overlooking the ocean. The service all around was excellent, housekeeping, restaurant, front desk.
