The location is excellent, by far the nicest part of the Island. Quiet but only a ten minute walk into town along the beach road.
The staff are very efficient and attentive, great service at the restaurant.
Nice choice of breakfast options and very reasonably priced food options for lunch and dinner. Good value for money compared to a lot of other restaurants along the beach.

The resort was very rustic. The room was clean & comfortable. The staff were accommodating & lovely to deal with. The food was some of the best we had on the island.

Taxis are very expensive in Holbox. The heat was very hot. So bare this in mind if you fancy trips into town and do on.

There is air con, fans and a good wide shady roof to keep temperatures down. Mosquito nets everywhere was good, not many around when we were there. Beds were comfy. All rooms nice and large. No tv, we liked this!

The hotel was beautiful, sensational views and you step right out onto the beach front. The other hotels on Playa Holbox are set back from the beach but AWA is right on the beach front which is amazing. The hotel rooms were really spacious and beautiful interiors, rustic and modern. The staff were so friendly and helpful, lovely breakfast, lunch/dinner and even better cocktails! Great music and vibe for when hanging out there during the day.

The rustic authentic aesthetic was very appealing. Location was great and quiet yet easy to get to anywhere from. The reception were always very helpful in booking tours for us 😊
The space. Kitchen was great with dinningroom table, the bedroom was large with cupboard space, shower was loveky and powerful and the outside area was so welcoming with hammocks and chill areas.

The hotel is very well located and the private beach with the beach bar is super convenient.

The staff is very nice always available and happy to help. We arrived at 10.30pm at night and they offered us to go have dinner before the kitchen close and then do the check in which we’ve really appreciated.
The hotel location is in a quiet area and like 10 min walk from the center of Holbox.
The properly was clean, stylish, had a lovely cocktail bar area. The receptive gave good recommendations for dinner and the cocktail man was very friendly and made great delicious and good value cocktails during happy hour!
