After an initial confusion about the room I had booked was cleared up, I really enjoyed my stay here. The lady managing the place was always super helpful and sweet. The room and bathroom were spotless and the entire property is in great shape. Ideal location in between ADO station and town centre as well as lagoon public bathing spots.

Clean and spacious rooms that surpass Mexican standards, providing a comfortable stay. While it may not be located directly on the shores of Bacalar Lagoon like some of the fancier and pricier hotels, it still holds its own charm. And as fancy and touristy hotels are not our gig, Hotel Balché was the perfect choice The lagoon is just a couple of minutes away by car (10 min walking), and we highly recommend visiting the Balneario Ecológico for a refreshing dip.
The rooms at Hotel Balché come equipped with a fridge and there is a common kitchen, though not extensively stocked for cooking. However, it's sufficient for preparing your own breakfast, which you can enjoy in the hotel's internal courtyard. The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience of our stay.

Luis made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. He has taken a lot of care and attention for your little home from home. Even though the property is not in the centre of Bacalar, if you have a car this is a welcome oasis away from the club strip. We highly recommend you book Estancia Lapislázuli if you want that personal touch

Lovely rooms, a good shower, a kitchen for the guests, spacy parking and a taco restarant beside - we liked it. But don't forget that the hotel is located on the main road M307 between Bacalar and the exit to the Cenote Azul. It's not perfectly quiet. But great value.

It’s quite large with a really nice bathroom. The water pressure is good and warm water. The WiFi is good and there is Netflix etc on the tv. The location was fairly good in terms of having a free spot for swimming in the lake close by and a really nice restaurant across the road. A pizza place just a few blocks away A small shop also across the road.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Nice place to stay for 2-3 nights. There is a swimming pool, common areas to relax, an accessible kitchen and clean shared bathrooms. You need to be aware that the place is about 25 minutes by car from Bacalar. There are few places to eat in Buenavista, so we recommend doing major food shopping before arrival to have something to eat for breakfast/dinner. The facility has beautiful and very intimate access to the lagoon.
Also remember to take mosquito spray, because they bite a lot when you are not inside the house.
I liked that the tents were comfortable and kept my belongings dry even when it was raining. I liked the dinner and the cocktails and the free kayak rentals. Ben, the staff member, was helpful and answered all my questions.
Lovely hotel, immaculately maintained with beautiful gardens and pool area. Food served at breakfast and dinner was very good, staff very helpful and loved access to the free bikes. Is off street parking for a limited number of cars.
Location in front of the lagoon, incredible to jump into the water at any time ! Hosting service was exceptional. Jesus was always available and attentive. He offered cooking for dinner and he would get anything you need: groceries, food, and tours. Enough hotel-restaurants are nearby, walking distance. Air conditioning available in the room. A great patio deck in front of the lagoon and two hammocks just at the lagoon... you cannot beat this!
Beautiful new property, nice design touches and a lovely swimming pool. Right in the centre of Bacalar,about 3 blocks away from the lagoon. Comfortable beds, good air con and helpful friendly staff. The breakfast was good and the restaurant does dinner as well.
We had a lovely stay. The staff, gardens and lakefront beds are wonderful. Our room was nice and quiet. Breakfast and dinner were Yum! We felt safe and calm.
Really fun taking the free kayaks onto the lake.

We slept in a standard bungalow with in-room bathroom that was ok.
Very clean, comfortable beds, free water provided daily and a beautiful inner courtyard with chairs to eat or relax outside.
Location was also great, a short walk to the Lagune or main plaza.
The hosts are amazing. I was suffering from sun burn and she gave me some aloe Vera from the property garden to soothe my burned areas and recovered quickly.
The stages are equally amazing and they can cook! Breakfast Lunch Dinner were delicious .
The property is lagoon front unbeatable location. I watched the sunrise every morning and swam in the lagoon at anytime. Your very own pool!
