Magnificent view on elephants in the river. Staff is super friendly, food very tasteful. We even enjoyed ib the local music at dinner. Breakfast is amazing.
The peacock village is set in the jungle in shipping containers, just a short tuk tuk ride to the Pinnawala elephant bathing. Tuk tuk rides are supplied by the accommodation. The staff were exceptional. Andrew was welcoming from when we 1st met. I celebrated my birthday and he arranged a birthday breakfast for me. His other staff were also exceptional. 100% recommend this place to stay you will not be disappointed. Breakfast was buffet style offered different cuisine for cultures. Best breakfast we have had on our stay in Sri Lanka.
Couldn't recommend enough. This is a wonderful Home Stay with the most welcoming family. We felt right at home. We were welcomed with tea and the onsite bar was a lovely touch.
The host was so helpful and would be a great guide for any tourist experiences.
The chalet had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

We had an amazing stay at Peacock Village Pinnawala. The staff were amazing and attentive, especially Andrew and Dan. The location was spectacular and the food was very nice.
Best Place to see elephant bathing from your balcony. They come close to us. We can see elephant bathing from the swimming pool and the restaurant area also. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic and delicious. Friendly and helpful staff.
In front of the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, you can park the vehicle in front of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful I actually forgot his name one of the staff ( a small guy) was very helpful.
The host was also very friendly and a great value for our money.the room and Bathroom was very clean.
Bed was very comfortable and large.
The location is amazing, perfect place to spend a night in Pinnawala and watch the elephants bathing. You have the perfect views from the pool area, restaurant or even your balcony.
