We were glad to stay in Stellar Inn in Peradeniya instead of Kandy. (Kandy is only 7 km away) Peradeniya is not touristy at all and we actually like it that way better. We got to experience a more authentic Sri Lankan town.
The hotel is new, modern and very clean. The room size is large.
The beds are exceptionally comfortable. There are blackout curtains and the AC works great. There is a kettle, cups, tea and coffee and water in the room.
The Royal Botanical Garden is within walking distance and we thouroughly enjoyed it! Initially we planned on staying here 1 night but because we liked it so much we stayed 2 nights.
The staff and manager were very helpful and accomodated our special requests.
After we left the hotel and were well on our way to another town, the manager called, informing us that we forgot our Apple tablet in the room! He then promptly worked on having it sent to us via a reputable courier Domex. We received the tablet the following morning! The courier cost was only 1000 LKR.

Owner is a kind and jolly fellow. He sings songs very well. We sang John Lennon, Beatles, Queen, Bob Dylan during breakfast. Breakfast was very nice, he prepared local veg cuisines for us and buffet menu has several items. He is straightforward in approach. Nice for the given price range.

The views are amazing, roshan who works for the hotel is so friendly and helpful. He helped carry our bags, arranged our dinner and breakfast, took us up on the roof to see the views. We booked the deluxe suite, the room was huge.
It's a good hotel with beautiful views. It's almost on the top, 1,5 km from main road and 5 km from center of Kandy. There was clean room and big bathroom, tasty breakfasts and dinners. Hospitable and helpful staff.

We visited Peradeniya for working at university We stayed at hanthana view for two nights. Really clean room, warm water. Dinner was great. She cooked vegan meal. We don't what we can do in Peradeniya, she told us about the nice temple around. She gave us an Adapter for charging our ringphones. An in the evening by dinner, we had a nice conversation. It a bit like coming home. Thank you so much
Clean, spacious house and pool terrace, in a quiet area, not too far from the green university campus and Peradeniya Botanical Garden. Very good and large Breakfast and Dinner as to my wishes. Manager Siran was courteous in any way and especially made lots of phonecalls to fullfill my wish for a train ticket despite trains were booked out for the next weeks.
Very comfortable and clean rooms. Location is away from the noisy streets of Kandy.

I booked this Hotel for my parents who are senior citizens. As per them this was the nest Hotel in the entire Sri Lanka trip. Everything was great here. Be it the service and hospitality, wifi speed, view from the balcony, cleanliness of the room, amenities in the bathroom, everything. Also there spread in the dinner and the breakfast buffet was also huge.
