Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
We had a smooth pick-up from the airport and check-in was also good. We stayed here in the beginning and end of our trip and both times the room was ready & clean. The room was spacious and well equipped. We asked for more towels & sheets for our daughters and received them immediately. The appartement is in a parallel street to the main road, it's a 5 minute walk to restaurants and the beach. There a small pool which we didn't use but it looked fine.
Fantastic location for Negombo as it is close to a small supermarket, many restaurants, ATM etc. Best part was the view from our terrace with jacuzzi and jacuzzi itself :-) Cleaning service awesome and extremely nice. Comfortable bed and good AC. Delicious papaya and pineapple for breakfast :-) At the end of our stay, we got invited for a delicious dinner in our hotel and it was absolutely spot on dinner - great cook :)
We had both breakfast and dinner at the main restaurant. All the food was delicious, and the service was friendly and superb. Highly recommended for anyone....!
Highly recommended. The location is great. 5min walk to the beach. The apartment is beautiful with great sea views, especially the sunset! Vey clean and well equipped. we cooked our dinner here. The staffs are also very friendly! Many restaurants nearby. The swimming pool is also nice!
This is the perfect hotel for the beginning or end of anyone's trip to Sri Lanka. Excellent facilities, delicious breakfast, a comfortable room in a great location, and Basil the manager is a kind and incredibly helpful guide for anything you need in Negombo. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough.
Wow! Mango Guest House is a hidden oasis with beautiful gardens, abundant wildlife and many coconut and mango trees. The room itself was very clean and spacious with everything you need. Kenneth was also a warm and friendly host who was happy to help with our ongoing travel plans. He also showed us the fireflies in the evening which was amazing to see! Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. A perfect stay, thank you Kenneth!
Comfortable and clean room.
They provide shampoo and shower gel - which is rare in guest houses around Sri Lanka. I found this a big plus.
They also serve food (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Mango House Japanese Guest House was the perfect choice for our Sri Lanka trip. Impeccable rooms, beautiful gardens, and an attentive owner made our stays at the beginning and end of our journey absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended for a top-notch experience!
an amazing family guest house, everything clean and nice. We got offered homemade dinner and breakfast and the owner helped us with travelling around Sri Lanka. Many useful advices. We travel with a small child, the owners treated us all with love and acceptance. Felt like home. Thank you so much, we will come back. 🙏
