I like smaller, more intimate hotels like this. It had a older feel to it which I find charming. Our room was comfortable and quiet with a view of trees at the back of the hotel.
But the best feature of the hotel has to be the attached restaurant, Julia's.
The food was so good we had dinner there the three nights we stayed at the hotel. The menu was interesting and the prices reasonable. A good reason stay at this hotel, I dare say!
Location, neatness & comfort. Felt like we were living in Almaty with local residents. Explored near by hotels and great location to stay with family. Ideal for a small family. We cooked vegetarian food and eat breakfast and dinner. A new washing machine is also there to wash clothes + emergency iron etc. A general store is located at Ground Floor where we got local fruits of amazing taste. Overall, it's a very good experience living in Almaty.
Really nice apartment in Almaty. Quite luxurious and comfortable. Lots of space for our stuff. Good size bathroom, all very clean. Host was very friendly and send us some recommendations for dinner and breakfast. In the area there are plenty of supermarkets which are 24/7 open. Restaurants are nearby as well. Would definitely recommend when staying in Almaty. If you want to rent a car, definitely use Iron Horse Nomads. Enough parking just close to the apartment.
Hotel is situated near to the metro station, 3 mins walk away. Staffs are friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant beside where they serve breakfast- breakfast was not too bad after all. Shout out to the lunch and dinner serve at the restaurant, good food, cozy- highly recommended. You would love the scenery just outside the hotel, walk out and to the left you will be able to see the snow capped mountains.
Very good location, apartment is fitted with everything is necessary when you are on holiday with the family. As tip - take dinner to Baharat restaurant which is very close, it will worth! Thanks to the staff, we dropped the luggage for free for few hours after we checked out. Also, I highly recommend Almaty for it and also for making excursions to the lakes: WONDERFUL!

Stella who is working in the Cafe was communicating with us in a warm way. She helped us when we forgot something in a taxi. She kept asking us about food and gave a good impression about the facility and it's stuff.
Garden Park Inn exceeded my expectations. Super nice hotel with lovely staff and perfect location. The breakfast was delicious with quite big selection of food. Room was clean, well organized. There was everything you need in the room. This is the best hotel so far regarding value-money!
Despite the fact that the furniture, facilities are old the hotel is clean, bed linen, blanket, towels and bathrobe are all clean and fresh. The hotel is winning because of location, stunning views! Huge plus for proper slippers not that thin paper slippers. Even you don’t have access to to Mountain View you can go to the floor lobby and access from the balcony
I prefer to stay here when the location is a dealbreaker, I think you can find bigger and better apartments in the same location for the same price.
