Easy check-in and out with nice staff. Clean room and it was a good size. Private bathroom and private shower were a part of the room itself. The shower was very spacious and nice. It was great that it was a non-smoking room, we really appreciated that. Cool futuristic mirror with built in light. Would definitely stay again. Great location too.

I was a bit hesitant to book since there aren’t any pictures/videos online.
We booked the double room (15sqm) and the space exceeded my expectations for a room in Tokyo. The bed was big enough for 2 persons of midsize, and the size of the bathroom suited us. We were able to fit our 2 hand carry luggages, 1 medium luggage, 1 large luggage (not opened at the same time).
The receptionists we met throughout our 1 week stay were friendly and helpful. especially the man who checked us in. We requested for a clothes iron and robe/sleepwear and he accommodated our needs. When it rained, another receptionist told us we can use the umbrella for free. Another receptionist also helped us look for a taxi/cab.
The location was outstanding as it is near to Asakusa station (accessible from Narita Airport and is part of the Ginza line). The hotel was conveniently near to various tourist activities (rickshaw tour & kimono rental), tourist spots (Sensoji Temple and the shopping street), restaurants, konbinis, pharmacies, Don Quijote, and Kappabashi.
In the morning, we went for a walk at Sumida River to enjoy the breeze and sunshine. At night, we were able to enjoy the peace & quiet (since majority of the shops close early) in Asakusa.

The room
Was very clean and new. The breakfast to add up was also good. The position for a Tokyo 1 time was perfect. There is a great alley for dinner next to the hotel, also with karaoke.
I like kitchen and Dining with the good and clean facilities.
I really like the atmosphere and recommended to Guest House Samurai for staying in a low budget hostel in Taito, Tokyo, Japan.
I was curious what the Imperial was like, since it's one of the older Western style hotels in Tokyo. I love the location, it was so easy to walk to Hibiya subway station and JR Yurakucho Station. I'm sure in the Winter, when it's not as hot, you could walk to Shimbashi Station as well. The room was a good size and the staff were all very helpful and friendly and spoke very good English. We ate once in the Parkside Dinner and 2x in the Viking Sal Buffet. The chocolate danishes and the blueberry danishes were very very good.
Proximity to airport and central Tokyo a big winner! So much so that we cancelled our later hotel booking and rebooked here, to make our journey home easier.
Beds comfy, rooms large and cool (with Aircon) . Having kitchen and washer great, can dry clothes overnight in the shower room (? Dehumidifier?)
Only thing we would have liked is more pillows 😅
A very nice upscale hotel. The price was very affordable and the facilities were comfortable. I only have two negatives. The bed was not that comfortable. Something about the mattress that made me feel as if I were going to roll out of it. Secondly, there are several restaurants on this property and we chose to have teppanyaki for dinner. At about $200.00 per person it was overpriced for the average quality meat. The breakfast was good. Overall, I will be staying here again.
Friendly respectful staff.
Onsen traditions in the city.
Fabulous restaurant serving formal set breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Tatami in all rooms.
Zen vibes through the whole hotel.
City views exceptional.
Entrance and foyer reminiscent of mountain ryokans.
Roof top onsen baths looking over the city below.
We had a wonderful stay at the Guest House Wagokoro, the staff were very helpful and gave us some very good recommendations for breakfast and dinner.
The location was great, a short walk to Nippori station and there was a really good bakery and coffee shop nearby.
