Amazing stay. Will definitely return. Host was incredibly kind. He answered all of my questions via booking messages before my arrival. He picked my kids and I up from Maiko ski resort and took us back the next morning. Chef prepared delicious meals for dinner and breakfast and even made special meals for my 2 year old on adorable plates. I felt so bad that the kids were so tired after a long day on the slopes to finish their food! Host spoke fantastic English which was also very helpful but kept the Inn very traditional Japanese style which I love. Bath was awesome, rooms were clean and cozy, and the coffee was ouishi!!
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Futon on tatami is at acceptable thickness, so we consider it comfortable. Toilets available every floor, 2 public bathrooms and hot bath located at ground floor, sometimes might need to queue if happen to be full booking that day. Breakfast and dinner available upon request. 5 minutes walk to ski lift, Satoshi-San pick up and fetch us to train station. Will be back on next ski season probably.
Nice onsens (public and private), spacious rooms, excellent service and good value kaiseki dinners! Convenient private shuttle to ski slopes for a price and well-equipped ski equipment facilities. Note that showers are located in the public onsens
Was a great location for my snow trip. Very easy to get to ski lifts and snow gear rental. The staff were all very polite and accommodating. Vegetarian curry option for dinner was delicious. Privet bath option available with pre booking. Very much enjoyed my stay.
Compared to the area, a great value stay. Dinner was reasonably priced with larger servicing. Shared bathroom was clean and bathing room well cared for. A few games in the dining room helped pass the time after dinner before bed. Dry room was handy for all of the ski gear, and parking was free.
Breakfast was simple but absolutely delicious.
Staff were friendly and even offered us snow shoes and kids toys to play in the snow
The onsen experience was unique, bare in mind the onsen between male and female switches daily

The accomodation serves breakfast and dinner, which is quite major point. The hotel is located in the middle of the slope, perfect for those who wanted to jump into ski straightaway.
The host and staff was very very friendly and I appreciate their mochi making event held during one on the night.
We arrived very late after checkin closed and they were very kind and helpful. The rooms were cosy and clean, and the beds very comfortable. The drying room was super hot for drying wet gloves and boots. They had a shuttle bus up to the ski hill which was a very short distance. We had dinner one night and it was amazingly good and well priced !
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was not moldy and musty despite coming in winter. Rooms and beds are clean, bright and well pleasant. The dining hall was lovely, they offer dinner and breakfast meals.
Good room with good views, not too many people, staff had good attitude. Dinner was good.
