Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
facilities were clean and location was close to a supermarket, lawson, daiso, and ramen restaurant. loved the free shuttles to and from hirafu, hanazono, and kutchan station. They also have free fans to use in case the room isn't cool enough for you. also a plus they have a restaurant inhouse for breakfast and dinner. Onsen is a super plus!
Boken Kazoku was very cozy and comfortable. The staff was by far the best part. They were kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable of the area. We loved the dinner we had there as well and the deer in the curry was shot by Ana-san, one of the owners! Very rustic indeed :) The rooms were great though with traditional futons. We had a heater in the room, a lovely view outside, and a nice communal kitchen as well.
We loved the family run Japanese owned Pension White Bear 🐻❤️❄️
The ofuro at the end of a day on the slopes and the food recommendations from the owners made our stay brilliant. The owners were always so pleased to help us out.
The view of Yotei from our room was beautiful.
It was walking distance from Lawson, Seicomart, the bus stops to Kitchen station/other niseko resorts.
The food stalls next door were so tasty and gave us a real flavour of Hokkaido.
Thank you for a magical atmosphere 🙏❤️
- Free shuttle to Hirafu and Hanazono
- Great large supermarket chain and pharmacy next door
- very clean bathroom and spa
- ok buffet for simple breakfast and dinner
- good wifi
Extremely positive experience at this little family run pension. Perfect location right in the middle of town. The owners are friendly and helpful and make you feel at home. There is a common room to hang out after skiing and chat to other guests. Can highly recommend staying here for a unique niseko experience!
The family who run it are lovely. they put on the best Sukiyaki dinner we had for the Best price. buses are right outside - to Hirafu and to Kutchan (10-15 both ways) facilities are good clean traditional and comfortable. we were pleasantly surprised with the lodging. good Chinese restaurant across the road. big Lucky supermarket only 10 mins bus ride in Kutchan. facilities have common kitchen which is helpful as well as restaurant (which was limited and required pre booking)
