Loved the location in the woods, the high lodge ceilings, the breakfasts with freshly-baked bread and good coffee and teas, the public spaces, the hot tub, being able to ride their old mountain bikes around town. Koki gave us a ride to and from the train station, plus guidance on where to hike. Koki is a good cook (pasta for dinner) and was able to accommodate my husband’s vegan diet. He was very nice to us.

Spent one night in Hakuba (in May, so off season). I was welcomed by very kind host who showed me around. From the very beginning I felt relaxed and "at home". The facility is not very modern, but it has its style and it's not fake! It's almost like Obergurgl in Austria which gives a bit of magic to your travel through Japan. If I was to come to Hakuba for skiing I would absolutely went for Pension Obergurgl!

Pension Belnina was the perfect place to stay in winter to enjoy Hakuba snow fields. Located in Echoland, there is lots of restaurants and food options around the corner from where the accommodation is located. The hosts were so kind and helpful (e.g. calling taxis, making dinner reservations). They were very willing to help you in any way possible. Rooms were nice, basic but had everything you required. The whole accommodation was clean and very tidy. Awesome breakfast in the morning as well.

We loved our stay at Pension Nugget Inn. The accomodation felt homely, warm and stylish. Additionally, the facilities are high quality. In term of location, a short walk from the house would lead you to the bus stop, konbini, and plenty of restaurants. The hosts were extremely hospitable, accomodating and helpful. They made us feel completely at home. We enjoyed every interaction with them.

The couple running Pension Hakuba 70 are wonderful and incredibly hospitable. They were very clear with the arrangements and put on an exceptional dinner one evening for us. They also helped us with organising taxis when we needed to get back to town and were overall a delight to meet.

The innkeepers are a lovely elderly couple who went the extra mile to make the stay pleasant and comfortable. They kindly provided transport to and from the bus stop on check in and check out, and also have scheduled transport runs to the nearby Goryu ski fields.

This guest house is run by a Japanese couple. This is our third times stayed , since 2015. Times go by , however the property have a well maintaining. Cozy , clean and neatly. New carpet , new bedsheets, new curtain and new design in the living room area . The property is connecting to a Japanese restaurant, we enjoyed our dinner here after a whole day skiing and snowboarding. For I. We absolutely enjoy our stayed in here and definitely come back again .
