Looked the Ryoken style bedroom. large room for 4 of us. Had a separate bathroom and shower which were unfortunately downstairs. Nice communal área. had the dinner one night which was lovely all sat around their fire pit.Not much in rhe área and last bus quite early but good basis for the activities in Hakone to spend a night or two to relax

The room was spacious and comfortable. We had the half board and stayed for 4 nights. The kaiseki breakfast and dinner were amazing! At the end of a day of walking soaked in osen. Staying at Senkyoro was the highlight of our trip!

Staff were very kind and their hospitality was amazing and the best of all the accommodations we stayed at in our 3 week trip to Asia. The place was very clean and the food served was very good (we ate dinner twice, but not the breakfast). Given most local restaurants close early, it was very convenient to be able to have dinner at the guest house. The onsen that you can book is private and relaxing. Free shuttle to Gora station really helped each morning given that the location was a bit off the main road.

The place was quiet and within walking distance to the train station. I had the onsen to myself and it was very relaxing. The Innkeeper advised us to view Mt Fuji that day as the following day would be rainy and cloudy. Good thing we followed as he suggested. Bus stop to Lake ashi was just nearby. We had a comfortable stay here.

The innkeeper was so kind and genuine, he made sure we were well looked after the entire stay. The onsen is such a nice way to relax after a busy day exploring beautiful Hakone. The innkeeper’s suggestions and directions were super helpful, and he checked in on us every day to make sure we had everything we needed. The traditional tatami rooms are such a special experience, and the inn is super clean. The location is excellent too. I highly recommend staying here :-)

Breakfast and dinner were wonderful. Staff was friendly and quick to help. Gave off a rustic feeling of staying with your grandparents. Onsen was a fantastic experience as well.

The location is quite a distance from the main area of Hakone, but it is very easy to catch the bus to where you want to go - the T Line bus from Odawara station (stand 4, to Tegandai)) stops across the road. Breakfast was good and dinner was a bonus, with beautiful home cooked food. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. When staying at the Guest House you also have access to the onsen at another facility ~1km away.
