Very homely, lots of convenience and value adds for guests. Very clean rooms, and the onsen is comfortable. Special thanks to the team at Dormy Inn Premium, we left a laptop behind in the hotel room and they informed us promptly once they discovered it and were so kind to courier it to us across the next city! In addition, they even did it without costs. We are very grateful for the help, and are glad to have experienced true Japanese hospitality.

The owner Mr Iwase is very accommodating and provided us with all the necessary amenities within the inn itself. There are ample parking lots and our breakfast set is very satisfying too.

Lovely setting at the top of a little hill overlooking the town. Spacious and very comfortable room. We had breakfast and a kaiseki dinner there. The dinner was beautifully presented with many novel dishes new to us . Very enjoyable! A very comfortable public bath which overlooks Fukui town .

The Riverge Akebono is a nice hotel on the banks of the River Asuwa. There is ample parking, and during our stay in early April superb views of the sakura across the river. My wife greatly enjoyed the onsen facilities. There was a minor mix up with our room, so we had to move rooms on the final day of our stay. The management was very apologetic and gave us a free seven course dinner to compensate, and didn't charge us for parking. The Asuwa Shrine is and easy walk up the hill from the hotel.

It's a brand new Dormy in and everything was excellent. The onsen, with an outdoor bath from which you can see the cherry tree lined river, was very enjoyable. As all the other Dormy Inns, everything was clean, modern and functional and there was free ice cream, coffee and evening noodles. From the hotel you can reach lots of restaurants, sightseeing spots and the train station. The receptionist was also extremely friendly, helped us to hold our luggage, etc.

Breakfast selection was excellent, and next door was food and souvenirs complex for good dinner and drinks. Very close and easy walk from JR Fukui station. Coin laundry available too.
